Ayub Bachchu Foundation stands by flood victims

The country’s renowned band musician Ayub Bachchu passed away on October 18, 2018. The ‘Ayub Bachchu Foundation’ was formed to preserve his memory and stand by the helpless people. This foundation stands by the people who were swept away by the terrible floods in the southeastern part of the country. The foundation has already provided financial assistance of fifty thousand taka in cash. A statement from the foundation said that today we are in great danger. People have been swept away, villages have been swept away. But our dream of survival has not been swept away. The flood in this alluvial delta of the Himalayan basin and our ancient connection. We are the strongest in our disaster. Like a phoenix bird, the people of Banvasi have risen again and again in this alluvial chest. We remember the memories of that 1998 flood. Bangladeshi artists, as always, stood at the forefront of the relief effort. Memories of Ayub Bachchu keep coming back. The urge to do something in such a disaster drove him. He would call everyone and gather them. We, Ayub Bachchu Foundation, have already handed over some relief to the appropriate authorities. We are continuing our efforts to provide some more relief quickly. You stand on the front line with all your strength.
